Holiday Inn Express Birmingham Airport NEC by IHG

Good breakfast. The accessible room is spacious. It needs a non slip floor in the bathroom . The price for the room was good. The only thing I would say £25 parking for a 24 hr period is accessive. So if you stay here add that to the price of your room.

A hidden gem. Perfect location. Breakfast included (great varietyand quality). Reasonable price parking. Late check out. Clean, decent sized rooms. Great water pressure and heat. The friendliest staff. Could not find a single fault. Even had a machine to purchase any forgotten essentials.

Perfect location after a busy day at the NEC. Room was a good size being accessible and was clean. Bed was comfortable, unfortunately room was hot and the Aircon wasn't working sufficiently. Breakfast was really good - great selection. We are in the hotel in the evening - again good selection.

Okay... nothing amazing. I would have loved to have been told that the Gym is not at this location but at another of Holiday inns sites nearby BEFORE I booked! Food was okay. Minimal interaction with any staff. Did not see many. Room was a little cold when I got there and was only needing the room for a few hours, so, by the time it got warm....i was waking up! .

The staff were very kind, and careful with me, I felt like home. The breakfast it is perfect! The nearest bs stop it is “Knights Court” X12 from Birmingham international Station direction to Birmingham. Then 10 minutes walking inside of a business park. Check in and check out very quick, there is Restaurante inside and there is a pub 1minute walking from the hotel. The room it was big with an amazing bed, very clean and with all what I needed after a walk in the rain. :) The nearest bs stop it is “Knights Court” X12 from Birmingham international Station direction to Birmingham. Location good for airport,left car on the car park for 8 days . Stopped over one night as had an early start . Breakfast was included but we could only have continental due to a 3.50 am pick up . Not many hotels do those so early . The taxi arrived and it was 7 minutes away at this time in the morning. Probably was the people in the hotel said it was a free taxi and walked a few minutes to the terminal or pay £7 and get dropped off outside the terminal. However the taxi charged us £18 . Which we are going to question. The room was fine the food and beer was as they should be . The service were friendly. Next door is a pub called the Owl which I was told did more variety of food but never tried it . Yes I would stay , park and fly from this hotel again but not have the taxi as it was a complete rip off .

Tidy Holiday Inn near Birmingham Airport. Quick and easy check in thanks to the pleasant lady on reception. Room tidy and presentable and the usual comfortable bed. Temperature seemed to do its own thing regardless of settings. Food as expected. Makhani chicken not bad, shame the naan was in the curry making it soggy. Breakfast buffet with the usual bits, hot and cold and very nice latte. Would definitely use it again.

Half an hour walk from NEC. Couldn't control the air conditioning in the room – affected sleep both nights I stayed there. Staff were friendly and helpful. I forgot some of my toiletries and was able to receive a complementary from reception. Cooked breakfast, including vegetarian sausages being available, was good. Ate well both mornings. Had an evening meal and drinks which were good too
